About Bright Ideas
Bright Ideas Construction works with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and approved program partners to provide energy-saving home improvements for qualifying renters and homeowners. These improvements are designed to help eligible households reduce energy use, lower monthly utility costs, and improve comfort, safety, and quality of life at home.
For more than 15 years, Bright Ideas has served communities throughout California’s Central Valley. As one of the region’s long-standing energy-efficiency contractors, we are proud to support local families with professional service, experienced field crews, and a commitment to doing the work correctly from the first visit through final inspection.

Erik Jensen
Erik Jensen co-founded Bright Ideas Construction and has helped lead the company for more than 15 years. His work has focused on building reliable field operations, supporting employees, and helping customers access energy-saving home improvements through approved utility-funded programs.
Our Team
Bright Ideas is supported by a dedicated team of office staff, customer service representatives, energy specialists, weatherization technicians, warehouse personnel, and quality-control professionals. Each part of our team plays an important role in helping customers move through the program smoothly and ensuring that approved work is completed safely and professionally.
Our crews are trained to work respectfully in customers’ homes, explain the process clearly, and follow the requirements of the programs we serve.
